VLX/VLCX goods van

The VLX vans were originally built as the VLF wagons in the early 1960s. They were constructed to a standard design for broad and standard gauge running.

Reclassification occurred twice, from VLF to VLX then finally to VLCX.

Due to their general purpose, wagons were used right up until about 2006, and so have appeared in the VR and V/Line wagon red schemes, as well as Freight Australia and Pacific National colours.

These are an older release of Trainorama's, having been slightly upgraded for a re-release. The newer models feature metal knuckle couplers, all metal wheels and an improved coupler pocket.
